Baller Dacon62 Posted October 28, 2018 Baller Share Posted October 28, 2018 Hey Ballers...have a ‘17 Prostar heading my way on a single axle trailer. Doesn’t have a spare tire and would like to get one before it shows up. Can someone let me know what size rim, bolt pattern measurement, tire size and load rating I need to get to match? Thanks! oldjeep
Look here since it appears to be a boatmate. http://boatmateparts.com/products.php?catId=21&PHPSESSID=2ec76c9ec846dac2d289075b21b59454 Hard to tell from that picture, but on a single axle id generally assume 6 lug with e rated tire. Baller BraceMaker Posted October 28, 2018 Baller Share Posted October 28, 2018 There's a guy in minnesota that does carbs and tires. He usually has a good matching look rim and good costs. Peter Biever
Baller Dacon62 Posted October 28, 2018 Author Baller Share Posted October 28, 2018 Sorry I forgot I had this shot... definitely a 6 bolt.
Orlando76
6 lug boatmate!!? I’m shocked. Me and boatmate and my local Nautique dealer went round and round how I wanted a 6 lug and it’s total overkill they would only do 5 lug. Ended costing them a sale.i believe that rim is called a Viper and I found it somewhere last week for $
Orlando76
Pm’d You the rim link, not sure what the procedure was posting links now and I didn’t want to be the first recipient of the wingnut award.

Baller dbutcher Posted October 28, 2018 Baller Share Posted October 28, 2018 Unless Mastercraft changed recently, they make their own trailers. The photos above look like the 2014 Mastercraft trailer I used to own. If so, a quick call or email to Mastercraft would tell you the wheel specifics you need. Baller BraceMaker Posted October 28, 2018 Baller Share Posted October 28, 2018 @dbutcher they do, but for some geographic regions due to shipping and other considerations like export or salt water usage they occasionally use a third party. Baller dbutcher Posted October 29, 2018 Baller Share Posted October 29, 2018 I guess that makes sense. Would it be likely that the third party would have to build trailers to Mastercraft's specifications, and thus Mastercraft would still know the wheel specs? Members ScottScott
I actually wrote them about the wheels not long ago. Regardless of who builds the trailer they are purchasing the wheels from a dealer like trailerandtruckparts and may not be the same all the time. Those wheels listed above are definitely the wheels we have on our '17.
Jerry44
They are the ones I have on my '17 as well.
Baller Broussard Posted October 29, 2018 Baller Share Posted October 29, 2018 As stated above, MasterCraft builds there own trailers. In the past they have outsourced trailers for some of their larger boats and I believe dealers have the ability to order a boatmate and get the boat and trailer shipped together.
