Baller igkya Posted September 29, 2018 Baller Share Posted September 29, 2018 Love Radar skis, but the insert thing isn't new. Had this on a shock tube 10+ years ago and when that wore out, as they were hard to find, I just bought another shock tube and placed a thin PVC pipe inside of it. Agree that it's much easier to use with the insert. Lastly, the off-set velcro straps aren't new either, but still another great idea.
Baller KRoundy Posted September 30, 2018 Baller Share Posted September 30, 2018 That reminds me, I really should get a shock tube. Glad to see a company putting some thought into the design on this one. I had not seen one with an insert before.
Baller thager Posted September 30, 2018 Baller Share Posted September 30, 2018 Does Radar sell a short tube?
Baller Roger Posted September 30, 2018 Baller Share Posted September 30, 2018 Straight line shock tubes used to have PVC in them. The first thing that wore out was usually the draw string ends and then the PVC would slide down the line during the run.
Baller_ Wish Posted September 30, 2018 Baller_ Share Posted September 30, 2018 That looks great!!. And less the 4' is a bonus as 4' sags over time making it even harder to push ropes through. For skiers on a budget, a 3', vey large opening shock tube can be had at beyondthewake.com in a bunch of diff colors for $20.
