Baller Stevie Boy Posted September 12, 2018 Baller Share Posted September 12, 2018 What a dumb ass thing to do, stripped the threads om my 2017 Pro Build fin block, I am asking are all the Radars now running with a thinner Fin/Blade or do I need to get a fin block specific for the Pro Build ? I have managed to wind a longer set screw in for the moment
Baller aupatking Posted September 12, 2018 Baller Share Posted September 12, 2018 Just get one from the Fred. Radar is using the same block for all adjustable fins on their skis. At least all of them I’ve seen.

Baller DangerBoy Posted September 12, 2018 Baller Share Posted September 12, 2018 @Stevie Boy Couldn't you just drill the hole out and tap it so you could use a slightly larger diameter set screw? I think I'd try doing that before shelling out money for a new fin block. Is that not an option for you?

Baller skialex Posted September 12, 2018 Baller Share Posted September 12, 2018 Or you can repair it with a 10/32 Helicoil thread repair insert. Cost of the repair is Very low especially if you have the repair tools. If done correctly it would be as good as new.
