Baller BlueSki Posted September 12, 2018 Baller Share Posted September 12, 2018 I ski with a guy that is starting to consider some fin changes on his D3 Helix. He is running stock deep/short. Does anyone have some long/shallow numbers to try? D3 only publishes one set of stock numbers.
Baller TEL Posted September 12, 2018 Baller Share Posted September 12, 2018 Have a Helix II DFT forward .05 and shorten length .05 move boot one hole forward. Works for me on a 66"

Baller skibrain Posted September 12, 2018 Baller Share Posted September 12, 2018 I'm on a 66" Helix H1. Had some recommendations from @Skijay 3-4 yrs ago and I still love this ski. Bindings back 1/4" from stock to 29.25" DFT 6.920 2.485 .730 7 degrees I've been running 8 degree wing this season and it feels a bit more planted. This ski requires definite front knee bend/weight shift forward in the pre-turn and then the tip is down, full ski engaged for carving quick turns.
