New Prostar Bimini stow

Does anyone else have the issue of the Prostar bimini leaving indentations in the engine box vinyl when stowing directly on top of it? I've been putting a throw cushion on the box to prevent this, but curious if there's a better option? The sun/heat do eventually allow the vinyl to return to normal, but I would be afraid one day the vinyl would just stay indented. I've been thinking about fabricating some sort of hard rubber blocks, that would allow it to rest on the gunwales.

Your boat should have 2 poles designed specifically for that that hold the bimini off of the motorbox, they come from the factory with them when delivered

I lay mine on the floor around the engine box for trailering.

I just leave mine in the up position. I do not have any poles with mine .

When I have to stow mine it goes on the floor around the engine box. Mine is a boat lift queen so not much of an issue. I agree this wasn't well thought out in the details

Buddy of mine puts a folded dry towel underneath. That works well.

Use an old ski vest. That works real good. Buckles up.

I use my throw cushion also. I bought a 2016 promo and it did not come with any poles to keep it off the engine cover.
