BroncoMike
I've been out of slalom skiing a few years. Just bought a 98 Sport Nautique last year. So I'm trying to figure out what ski to get. I have been looking at the 2017 Radar Senate 69". I've found, what I think is a good deal on one with boot and rear toe plate. I couldn't tell ya where I'm at as far as number of balls, speed, or how far off I am. The main lake I spend the most time on doesn't have a course but there's another one close by that does. I'm wanting a good ski but also not looking to spend a ton of money.
mikegile
Hard to go wrong with the Senate assuming it is the right size for you. Great for free skiing and no slouch in the course. Good luck and welcome back to the addiction!
Baller Keith_Menard Posted April 3, 2018 Baller Share Posted April 3, 2018 Exactly what Mike said.

Baller 6balls Posted April 3, 2018 Baller Share Posted April 3, 2018 My bro had a sport nautique...for free skiing even if not in the buoys may want to shorten up and get in front of the bump in the wake ie) 28 off and 34 mph.

Baller Bill22 Posted April 7, 2018 Baller Share Posted April 7, 2018 I like the Senate 17 graphics better than the 18.
BroncoMike
Yeah it's much better looking in person! I can't get over how light the ski is!
Baller Bill22 Posted April 8, 2018 Baller Share Posted April 8, 2018 @BroncoMike Nice ski! I meant the one you have is the better looking one!
dhofert
Great ski, love mine. I dropped in an adjustable fin this winter to give me something more to play with this summer. Absolutely love the graphics as well, glad I upgraded when i did.
Baller KRoundy Posted April 11, 2018 Baller Share Posted April 11, 2018 @BroncoMike Great choice! If you think that one is light you should compare it to a Lithium sometime. But that Alloy will be perfect for what you want to do. Go, rip, enjoy! @dhofert ???? I'm pretty sure all Senates come with an adjustable fin. BroncoMike
I was actually looking at the fin the other day. It's not adjustable.
Baller KRoundy Posted April 12, 2018 Baller Share Posted April 12, 2018 Weird, but OK. I stand corrected. An easy upgrade.
