Baller Keith_Menard Posted November 20, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 20, 2017 Where does your ski go in the winter? I was fortunate to get the Pro at the end of the season...now I need bindings...and spring!

Baller LeonL Posted November 20, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 20, 2017 Other than @"Keith Menard" 's comfy treatment, do you guys have a preferred winter storage position, as in standing on its tail, lying flat, upside down on supports, etc? Baller BrennanKMN Posted November 20, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 20, 2017 I bring my gear inside during the winter. While I bet the cold doesn't hurt it, I feel much better storing it inside where it doesn't get super cold.

Baller foxriverat Posted November 21, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 21, 2017 My senate is in its bag in walk in closet upstairs. The new to me 2016 lithium vapor and 2016 vapor bindings that just got delivered without my wife seeing are hiding in the attic.
Baller oldjeep Posted November 21, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 21, 2017 all equipment is upside down in the ceiling rack and the jackets and wetsuits are bagged and hanging over the platform. No room for all that stuff in the house. I guess that if water gets inside any of the skis and boards that they need to be replaced. So far no issues in the last 20 years or so. Baller_ MISkier Posted November 21, 2017 Baller_ Share Posted November 21, 2017 All the skis, heater tops, and drysuit are in the guest room closet. Vests, rope, gloves, are dried and inside the boat in the garage. Boat is covered by the original shipping cover, which covers the sides and protects against fading from the sun shining through the garage windows. The worst slalom equipment I own is between my ears.
Baller BraceMaker Posted November 21, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 21, 2017 @MISkier - how do you explain that smell to them when they go to hang their clothes up?
Baller_ MISkier Posted November 21, 2017 Baller_ Share Posted November 21, 2017 I say, "I love the smell of neoprene in the morning". The worst slalom equipment I own is between my ears.
