@Broussard Core or Impact ? I thought the Impact had more protection ?

Anyone have a recommendation for vests that are smoother and less abrasive on upper arms?

 

Elbows pinned to vest always scrapes up my arms in about any style I’ve tried. I’ve gotten so I wear a Lycra or neo rash guard that solves the problem and gives some UV protection, but sometimes would like to skip the extra layer.

 

(My fav Shortline vests are my go to, but of course scratchy

@Andre The core vest is new for this year and has panels in the side for extra rib protection. The Impact vest has been around for a bit. It is the red and black vest with the built in back brace.

and it is smooth skin. Zero abrasiveness, super comfy.

Not sure if the new one is the same material. Looks like it from the pic.

@Dacon62 The new vest is not quite the same material, but still a super lightweight vest and a great option.

@Broussard who stocks the new Core vest? And can you comment how sizing of the Core and Impact compares with other brands?

@ALPJr, I picked up a Core at @perfski It is a super nice vest. Stokes is also a great option if your size is available.
