Why did Brett Mainer get for a Wakeye for 16th @ the NorCal MasterCraft BallOfSpray Cash Prize?

I like to give something to the skier who squeaked into the Head 2 Head and then got crushed by the top seed.

 

This year it was @brettmainer. A new Wakeye XT1 will be heading his way soon.

@jimbrake I'm sure he will. He towed me, just some guy from Alabama at his lake in California, when I was just a struggling 15 off'er and helped me. Even without the camera mount.

True to his word, the Wakeye showed up on my doorstep last night. Hopefully I can get out to the lake tomorrow and try it out.

I took the wakeye out of the box and mounted it up today. I was very impressed by the quality of construction and easy of assembly/use. The wakeye app is even better. Set to “auto” mode before suiting up, and after skiing, retrieve phone. All of the passes are there, videos starting and stopping when boat passes through 45kph. The wakeye gets a 5 star rating from me. I’d have bought one long ago if I’d known it was this good.
