I like this, I say it for years that single piece fin blocks are better and numbers wouldn't change when tightened. Like the screws too, I grained mine with a dremel.

I have a friend who would be very interested in buying some of these for the skis that he makes, I'm telling him tomorrow!

@Horton one question. Can you still turn the top set screws when the fin is tight in the fin clamp?

Kudos Andy Goldberg!! It is SO nice to see someone take the fin block seriously like this. And a special thanks for blunting the leading edges of the adjustment set screws for us. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Any chance of making a salt water version that's all stainless?

@gmut You can put some compression on the springs and still tighten the set screw, but definitely can't tighten the set screw down when the clamp is fully tightened. Great product! I have been using one of the iterations for a few months now and it works great. I know a few kinks have been worked out in this design so it must be even better than the one I have!
