Baller ReggieO Posted August 3, 2017 Baller Share Posted August 3, 2017 Good afternoon Ballers, My neighbour had order a Zero Off system for his 2014 Response Txi over 4 weeks ago, has anyone had any issues with them delivering in a timely manner? thoughts or comments, thanks
Baller jetpilotg4 Posted August 3, 2017 Baller Share Posted August 3, 2017 The rumor is that they are very slow to deliver. When I upgraded my 04 to ZO i want to say it took 6-8 weeks to get the ZO
Baller Andre Posted August 3, 2017 Baller Share Posted August 3, 2017 ZO will never be as good as Perfect Pass for customer service. Never. My ski finish in 16.95 but my ass is out of tolerance!
Baller_ The_MS Posted August 3, 2017 Baller_ Share Posted August 3, 2017 No competition in the market place. "We dont care cause we dont have to"
Baller_ DW Posted August 4, 2017 Baller_ Share Posted August 4, 2017 Reminds me of my favorite airline customer service slogan: "we're not happy 'till you're not happy"
Baller thager Posted August 4, 2017 Baller Share Posted August 4, 2017 Ahh, that would be the Feds Slogan!
Baller ReggieO Posted August 4, 2017 Author Baller Share Posted August 4, 2017 To bad to hear this consensus, as I know they really suck, first hand experience! They could certainly learn from Radar and others about service!
Baller skiboat38 Posted August 4, 2017 Baller Share Posted August 4, 2017 They suck....it sucks
Baller Hugh Nichols Posted August 5, 2017 Baller Share Posted August 5, 2017 Although this issue will never effect me, its just another reason for me to detest ZO.
Baller gt2003 Posted August 5, 2017 Baller Share Posted August 5, 2017 I'm pretty sure ZO is just a few miles from my house. Looks like the wise decision will be to make a short road trip if I (or you) need something. Let me know

Baller hemlock Posted August 5, 2017 Baller Share Posted August 5, 2017 An order for Zero off on a 2014 ski boat? Doesn't the boat come with zero off? Someone please enlighten me.
Baller ReggieO Posted August 5, 2017 Author Baller Share Posted August 5, 2017 This boat did not come with it, it came with Malibu's own speed control system.
Baller hemlock Posted August 5, 2017 Baller Share Posted August 5, 2017 Thanks for the info. I admit, I'm surprised a Response doesn't come with Zero Off standard. I assume it's an option if you were to order a new one.
Baller RAWSki Posted August 5, 2017 Baller Share Posted August 5, 2017 My understanding is Zero Off was built and designed to be a Factory installed option, it's also a small product line produced by a manufacturer of many other products for Heavy Trucks and Agriculture applications. So while they may be more responsive to the Correct Craft or MC factory. Enovation Controls is just not a retail organization.
Baller eleeski Posted August 5, 2017 Baller Share Posted August 5, 2017 I'm not sure they are even allowed to retail to the retrofit market by the legal settlement of a few years ago. I have been waiting quite a while for my parts. Got some parts but waiting for the rest. They work as slowly as I do. Eric
Baller ReggieO Posted August 5, 2017 Author Baller Share Posted August 5, 2017 Thanks for the insight; they charged his credit card right away over 6 weeks ago and did not even reach out to him to tell him it would be shipped in one day or 4 weeks. Our skiing community is small, I am sure if service level like this was delivered by ANY of our ski suppliers, their life span would be short! Baller skierjp Posted August 6, 2017 Baller Share Posted August 6, 2017 @Mark_Matis be careful what you wish for. Could you imagine the confusion at a tournament if the boat had more then one speed control? My 2008 had both systems. Also, you guys complain about the price of the boats, now add another 2k for the second speed control! Oh yeah, now lets add all the magnets back on the courses. Now your entry fee just went up. Those magnets and the sensors in the boat were a pain in the butt. Have you guys ever thought about going through your local dealer for your ZO parts? I would bet if you called Nautiques of Orlando, Miami Nautique, Silver Spray, Sail and Ski or Skip Dunlap, they would have what you need.

Baller BraceMaker Posted August 7, 2017 Baller Share Posted August 7, 2017 When did econtrols ECMs become the norm? Isn't that after all how they were able to become the only speed control option? If Indmar Illmor PCM etc. all used different ECM's in their engines Zero off probably wouldn't have caught on.
Baller LeonL Posted August 7, 2017 Baller Share Posted August 7, 2017 @BraceMaker I think comes from the fact the all the engines now are GM.
