Baller RazorRoss3 Posted February 21, 2017 Baller Share Posted February 21, 2017 All of 2015 and 2016 I was on a 68.5 but I am not on a 67 at the start of this season.
Baller dchristman Posted February 21, 2017 Baller Share Posted February 21, 2017 Wait a minute, where's the option for 40 inch?
Baller RazorRoss3 Posted February 21, 2017 Baller Share Posted February 21, 2017 This poll excludes the water dancers and birds of flight among us
Baller dchristman Posted February 21, 2017 Baller Share Posted February 21, 2017 @razorross3 it just says "ski".
Baller_ MISkier Posted February 21, 2017 Baller_ Share Posted February 21, 2017 65.25 on my XT 65.5 on my 9500 The worst slalom equipment I own is between my ears.
mikegile
Been on a 67 for years and just went to a 68 this year.
Baller RazorRoss3 Posted February 21, 2017 Baller Share Posted February 21, 2017 @dchristman, I forgot the " ;) " it was a bad joke. I could have put 40 and N/A for the other two events. I'm a bad tricker and certainly not a bird of flight.
Baller skialex Posted February 21, 2017 Baller Share Posted February 21, 2017 I ride a 66" XT but when on a more traditional shape ski I go for a 67". 66" Denali that I rode last summer also was right for me too, lighter and faster cross course than many 67" skis. Baller Bill22 Posted February 21, 2017 Baller Share Posted February 21, 2017 Currently on a 65 but I really think I should be on a 66. Going to try one this year.
Baller dchristman Posted February 21, 2017 Baller Share Posted February 21, 2017 @RazorRoss3 You are assuming the event is slalom based on the ski size options. Even if that is a correct assumption, I could (and I just may) ride my "trick" ski in a slalom event into 39off at 28KPH thanks to ZBS :-) Although it does seem unfairly valued with the same ball count as a 30/LL pass. Baller RazorRoss3 Posted February 21, 2017 Baller Share Posted February 21, 2017 slippery slalom is hard, I could never get to 2 ball. Knew a number of people who could run several passes in college though.
Baller skibug Posted February 21, 2017 Baller Share Posted February 21, 2017 @Horton Loaded poll question though because it is sort of brand and ski design specific. I am on a 66" Goode (xt)..but would ride a 67 rev....and maybe a 68 D3.

Baller ALPJr Posted February 21, 2017 Baller Share Posted February 21, 2017 On a 67 last season. My 3 skis over the prior 20 years were 68's. I may go back to a 68 this year.

Baller Chef23 Posted February 22, 2017 Baller Share Posted February 22, 2017 I answere 68" because that is what I would ride in a conventional ski. Ia riding a 66" Goode Mid right now though.
Baller_ The_MS Posted February 22, 2017 Baller_ Share Posted February 22, 2017 @Zman No need to try as the 65.25 works great. Overall I dont think the 66 was as well liked and most skiers with success on the ski have been on the 65.

Baller oldmanskier Posted February 23, 2017 Baller Share Posted February 23, 2017 On a regular type ski I can use a 68" but prefer 69" or 70" ski due to being a fat guy. The GOODE 66" wide ride is the ski Chet suggested for me a few years ago. He said I was a Big wide guy and needed a Big Wide ski. The Goode 66" WR has been a great ski for me. I have a like new 2015 68" Obrien conquer (I got very cheap) that has three sets on it. When my 2009 GOODE 66" WR gives out I am going to give the Conquer a try. I keep hoping to get motivated and lose 20 lbs but that is another story. Oldmanskier
