Sanger was playing around with this process years ago as well. I wonder if quality of product is the real driver here, not saying this is a smoke screen, as VIP definitely improves product consistency. From what I hear Cali has some very stringent pollution laws. Maybe using this process will allow them to produce more boats while reducing emissions which may allow them to stay in Cali and not migrate out of state as some builders have done over the years. Thoughts...

Video is a bit corny and you won't miss much by skipping ahead to 4:25 to see molds producing boats but this seems to me to be the best way to build a hull and it's more then 10yrs old. My dad went on the same tour around that time in MN and was amazed. P.S. love the Southern Canada accents.

Was just gonna say, my first new boat was a Glastron 195SX built with the same technology, in 2004. It was a solid boat. The most important part is that it allows for more consistent thickness, thereby reducing hull weight.
