Were you qualified in slalom for the nationals and did not participate?

I did not participate even though I was qualified and I was even there with my daughter to ski. She skied well and placed but why do I want to pay the money to finish middle of the pack in Men's 3. I know USA Waterski wants the numbers up for sponsors and venders etc. but it seems like to many people can qualify for nationals, when's the last time someone out of the the top 15 podiumed? Seems like there should be less particapents and a shorter Nationals. I don't even mind the single round, it's nationals, the "elite" of the sport.

 

Also I have no opinion on practice my daughter and I never practice at any site, I think the buoys are supposed to be the same distance apart from each other from one site to the next.
