Wouldn't adding a little mass (bondo, etc.) to the appropriate side of the bottom of the ski make the fin "shallower" too?

 

I guess the key with this new fin block, the ski can be symmetrical but the block screws can be moved to the left or right to deflect it into an asymmetrical LFF or RFF setup.

@ToddL -from their illustration I think there is a set screw installed vertically and off center in the middle of the fin block fin block that pushes down on the top of the ski so that it bows that side of the tail downward. the set screw and its corresponding lock screw are high lighted in blue.
