@jayski no one but a ski designer needs one. I had one for years.... eventually figured out unless you are testing flex on different copies of identical skis it is sort of pointless.

@Bruce_Butterfield do or do you not find that when comparing skis from different brands or models what you feel on the water does not reflect what the flex numbers would make you expect?

I find the flex numbers consistently make sense to what happens on the water. Having said that, flex is only 1 piece of the puzzle in ski attributes. Most times you have to take into consideration other design aspects for the flex to make sense. Considering flex on its own can lead to gross misunderstanding of what the ski is doing.

If it was easy, they would call it Wakeboarding
