Nah market too small. After the broader recreational set here open floor plan, tower, open now. Will b pretty versatile family boat with broader market

What's not to like. Plenty of space, power, fuel efficiency, if only someone would engineer a proper boarding platform.

@dihrdskir. Check out the thread "Skiing behind outboard boats". Looks like an Aussie boat company has come up with a clever boarding platform for outboards. Best I've seen so far anyways.

If I used my boat primarily in the ocean this outboard would be great. Reduced chance of prop damage from dunnage in the water. Easy to replace if hit and you can get the whole motor and drive unit out of the corrosive water when parked. And look at all that space. Thinking that the new era of 4 stroke EFI outboards would hold speed a lot better too for a better overall pull then the old school oil pukers.

They will sell a bunch of these. It's already a barefoot boat. The platform looks like an easy add on based on the Aussie one.

Actually those side platforms look very large comparatively. And hardly no one will put on a high end slalom ski with fancy lace or buckle bindings so what's the need? The price will be the deciding factor. Price it way above the flooded outboard family boat market (pun intended) and they will have a hard time selling IMHO

@wish big four stroke motor is pricey right out of the box...now tie it to a NXT hull my guess is it's pricey.
