Baller Ilivetoski Posted July 27, 2015 Baller Share Posted July 27, 2015 Would love any advice. I also have no clue what to look for in video in terms of if the fin is set up correctly so if you notice anything that would be great. Thanks! Baller_ Bruce_Butterfield Posted July 27, 2015 Baller_ Share Posted July 27, 2015 Get wider on the gates. The inside shoulder is dropping on both sides, but really bad on 2/4. This causes the shoulders to turn and the ski to overturn and/or stop. Keeping the inside shoulder up is a key to counter rotation and turning with the hips. If it was easy, they would call it Wakeboarding
Baller mwetskier Posted July 27, 2015 Baller Share Posted July 27, 2015 the shoulder dropping pointed out above also causes your butt and hips to fall behind you. at that point counter rotation is no longer an option and its also going to be pretty hard to get much of a stack for the pull. driving your center of mass around and through the finish of the turn is most easily accomplished with your lead hip and the list of benefits can not be over emphasized.
