@ToddL again you're mixing USAWS and AWSA.

 

@LeonL the $15k+ "TV Production Expense" was for the Show Ski Nationals. Additionally if you look in the revenue section you'll see a $14k "Webcast Sponsorship".

 

While I have not seen any contracts between the LOC and USAWS regarding Nationals, in essence USAWS distributes the 'net profit' for the Nationals back to the sport division. USAWS pays for things like awards and handles other administrative tasks. The LOC pays for the basic operation of the tournament with things from gas to hotel rooms to ropes. Last year USAWS returned to AWSA (i.e. - net profit) $21 per skier. Again this, along with a membership distribution, are the two primary revenue sources for AWSA.
