SailorDave17
Who can tell me about Radar Skis? They seem to be a newer name, but I hear great things about them. Price point seems good too.....

Baller MattP Posted September 17, 2014 Baller Share Posted September 17, 2014 I'll echo what @Horton said. They are a great company to deal with who makes some awesome skis and gear. I am riding their Vapor slalom ski and Graviton Trick and have zero complaints. Check out Performance Ski & Surf for your Radar needs. They have a knowledgeable staff who can get you in the right product.

Baller gsm_peter Posted September 17, 2014 Baller Share Posted September 17, 2014 Radars a bit more low end skis like the P6 and Theory are great skis for running the course at lower speeds. And they are great priced to.
Baller markchilcutt Posted September 17, 2014 Baller Share Posted September 17, 2014 Awesome product outstanding customer service! I have been riding there high performance slalom skis for the past 5 seasons and just got my 15 yr old daughter a new pink Vapor. We both continue to set new personal bests on the product. Baller_ MISkier Posted September 17, 2014 Baller_ Share Posted September 17, 2014 I know several skiers on various Radar models. All have been happy with their skis and their experience with Radar. The worst slalom equipment I own is between my ears.
Baller ToddL Posted September 17, 2014 Baller Share Posted September 17, 2014 On the dock at any tournament in Texas, you will always see Goode, Radar, D3, HO, and a couple of Mapple slalom skis. Radar is definitely a top player.

Baller oldjeep Posted September 17, 2014 Baller Share Posted September 17, 2014 Never heard of them ;) Depending on which one you are looking for, these folks always seem to have good deals and a lot of blems. We got my Senate and my sons P6 from them. Whatever you do stay away from their bags, they are just awful. The one laying on the dock here is the 2nd or 3rd one that my father in-law tried where the zippers just came apart (Oddly enough there is a Syndicate inside it). I use HO bags on mine (Syndicate bag on the senate and a universal on the P6), they are really built well. http://www.wakehouse.com/radar-water-skis/ http://oldjeep.com/images/LakeVermilionJune2014/photos/photo5.jpg
Baller dropski Posted September 18, 2014 Baller Share Posted September 18, 2014 their customer service is outstanding, they gave me an awesome deal on a Graviton and went out of their way to help a collegiate skier out
Baller Roger Posted September 18, 2014 Baller Share Posted September 18, 2014 Everything already said. I have a different experience with their bags, bought two of them at Nationals 3 years ago and they're holding up fine ( I ski 4 times a week). Baller A_B Posted September 18, 2014 Baller Share Posted September 18, 2014 The guys at Radar are absolutely the best I have dealt with. The products they put on the market are top notch and are consistent with their quality. They offer a wide range of products from beginner to world class, and provide technical support for varying skiing styles. No I am not a paid spokesperson, just a satisfied customer. Nothing bad to say about them.
