Finally figured out stupid 1 ball at 32, 36

So for the past 3 years I have been working on 32 off (last year was so horrible of a season I really should say I have been working on it for 2 years). This year I think I finally have the stupid start of the pass down. I started pulling harder at the gate giving my ski more angle which puts me wider at 1 ball and I feel like I am more free of the boat at this point. When I get to 2 ball my thoughts are "dont drop my head and shoulders, dont drop my head and shoulders" and I feel the ski come around. Same thought at 3 ball with the head and shoulders, 4 ball I just think "ok get a saftey turn here dont do something stupid" come into 5 ball which is my onside, turn it and get to 6 and out the gates. Sounds simple enough, I have gotten 5 today and yesterday and ran it last satruday. I am right at the point that if I dont get excited at 4 ball (or when I am early at 3) I can be running this pass regularly

I hear a lot of "dont's" in your self talk. Basic sport psychology will tell you to never speak in the negative. So instead of saying, "don't drop your head/shoulders", say to yourself "keep your head and shoulders up". (Or something similar). Sounds silly, but it's a proven technique that makes a difference!
