Baller Waternut Posted July 6, 2014 Baller Share Posted July 6, 2014 Over the last month I've started noticing that I'm not really a floater anymore with this vest. I've had this vest for about 2 years now and it still looks brand new. However, I sink like a rock with it now. I used to be able to float at my eye balls with all of my air out of my lungs and now I barely float with my lungs full of air. I realize it's not a CGA vest so it won't float me massively but it's getting to the point where it's really not floating me at all. If I'm skiing and I take my ski off, I pretty much have to tread water to breath now. Anyone else experienced this?
Baller skidawg Posted July 6, 2014 Baller Share Posted July 6, 2014 I typically get 2 years max out if the oneill vest I've had, 1 yr out of eagles, I'm digging my radar vest-fit and comfort are top notch
ToddF
I cut into a couple pouches on my vest and added some pieces from another old vest then sewed it back up, worked great floating head high again, give it a try especially if you are attached to the vest. Baller Waternut Posted July 6, 2014 Author Baller Share Posted July 6, 2014 @toddf Yeah I've been seriously considering doing just that. Love this vest and I don't see any in size medium for sale anymore either.
