douganderson
I'm 6'4" and 245 lbs (but planning to get down 210-220). We have a 20 ft. tritoon with a 97 Honda 150 4-stroke. Our boat speed is currently in the 22-26 mph range (depending on how many people in the boat) but I'm hoping to get a little more speed with a different prop. I'm an intermediate skiier looking to have fun and get some decent performance on cutting without killing my back and arms with low boat speeds? What ski would you recommend? Currently, I'm looking at the 71" HO Freeride? Any thoughts about this ski or others for me? Does the Freeride have a super different feel than a tradional slalom ski? I can accept a different feel if this is the only ski that is able to fit my requirements.
Baller_ RichardDoane Posted June 30, 2014 Baller_ Share Posted June 30, 2014 Radar P6 sounds like the weapon of choice IMO
Baller_ Wish Posted June 30, 2014 Baller_ Share Posted June 30, 2014 Another consideration would be the Radar P6. It's big, stable, and not a lot of $$.

douganderson
Thanks for the ideas...I'm leaning toward the HO Freeride OR Radar Satori because these seem to be the only skis that would perform well in the speed range of my boat (22-26). Any thoughts about these two options? Anyone skied both of these? If so, how do they compare?
