I guess I will be the first one to congratulate Harald on his second place finish. He ran 4 39's and managed to beat Jeff Rodgers with a very nice score of 2 1/2 at 41.

I was at the tournament and kept track of all the guys that ran 39 more than once. For what it's worth, here is the list.

Amazing! Looks like Anybody harbouring thoughts of entering a big dawg event has to have a regular 10.75 score to have any sort of a shout.

How about a Nautique "really quite small dawg" event?

should let anyone who wants to ski it in. If that means you have 65 entries, start at 35 off. If you're a mid 39 skier, anything can happen at 39.

@ob is correct in the amount of time/effort it takes to put together and have an event, and it's a lot of fun to be involved whether you have an average into 10.75 or not, skiers are a good group of people to associate with, and that in itself is a reason to attend/enter

@OB totally agree - just making that point that these guys posted a lot of incredible scores. Think it's great that you / we can have the opportunity to join in. Wouldn't want it changed in any way.

Haralds score was great - guy has "huge" arms!! In fact none of the dawgs are on the skinny side, guess raw power is required at some point.

what is Harald skiing on? and when did he switch from reflex to radar boots?

@Deanoski‌ he is on a "MR" ski. European ski that is either still in R&D or not many out there. I'm pretty sure he has a hand in the design.

He's on an MR. Same ski he's been on at least two full seasons.

Harald has been on the MR ski with Radar boots for about 4 years. Previously he was on Fischer with rubber bindings.

 

Harald's brother in Austria started making the MR (stands for Manfred and Robert) about 5 years ago. His skis are based on the Fischer and are very light and soft.
