Zero Off How Many Sattelites do you need ?

Hi guy's we are experiencing problems at our lake, which is pretty much, surrounded by tree,s, so what is the minimum number of sattelites required for zero off to work efficiently, anybody got an answer ?

There has been a lot of problems with the pucks recently, get underneath the dash and find the the two antenna wires, they are marked, unplug them and switch them around, run the boat thru the course and then go to the diagnostic screen and see if you have a gps fail come up. You only need one puck the other one is a back up, it is more likely the problem than any thing else, if they are still under warranty get it exchanged because they are very expensive, if you have any problems doing this call me you have my no

Satellites are specifically addressed a couple pages in. But I dont see anything that specifically mentions minimum number required. It does say that you can receive 4 satellites at the same time at any place on the earth.

My friend's '09 SN takes forever to pickup gps, and our '07 SN picks up almost immediately. He is about 20 miles north of us. I am wondering if he has a puck issue?
