Greg Lukin
Hi guys Looking at buying a HO A3 soon - I found a couple of good looking second hand 2013's - is there much difference between them? I've read a bit about the base but don't really know if it's worth the extra $$ I'm running 36mph - aim of having a few attempts at 28 off - so nothing spectacular. Baller skihard Posted June 28, 2014 Baller Share Posted June 28, 2014 I bought a 2013 A3 a month ago and the improvements I have made over skiing on my A2 are drastic! I ride the ski better and it performs better for me. Can't speak too much on the 14 but I really do love the ride I'm on right now!
Baller ToddL Posted June 28, 2014 Baller Share Posted June 28, 2014 I believe that the '14 A3 has a little bit softer layup of material. It also has the HO speed skin texture on the bottom. Oh, and most importantly, it has @Horton's favorite red-metal-flake finish.
Baller Deanoski Posted June 28, 2014 Baller Share Posted June 28, 2014 I have a 67. A 3. 2014. I would let it go for 500. It has 8-10 sets on it
Baller TravisNW Posted June 28, 2014 Baller Share Posted June 28, 2014 ToddL is right on point. 2014 softer layup which is more close to an industry standard, 2013s were stiffer than usual but that's what they were going for. Speed skin is new for 2014, also the radioactive graphics are available for 2014 and it's a really good looking ski.
