Baller Razorskier1 Posted June 27, 2014 Baller Share Posted June 27, 2014 Does anyone know if there will be any webcast of the Big Dawg this weekend. Weather here sucks, and I could burn my weekend watching those studs ski with no problem!
ntx
I am not sure that I have seen a web cast of any of the "Big Dawg" events. I doubt if this one will be any different. Looks like they did not have a full field of skiers. I think I saw only about 43. Less than the usual 50 that I have seen in the past.
Baller MattP Posted June 27, 2014 Baller Share Posted June 27, 2014 I beleive they only webcast the finals. Usually no webcast due to lack of quality Internet connection at these sites.
Baller Edbrazil Posted June 28, 2014 Baller Share Posted June 28, 2014 However, they have a nearly live update of scores at: http://nautiquebigdawg.com/mississippi-2014-live-prelim-scores/ Nice job of putting it on a spreadsheet that also had standings. Current best score about 1/2 way through Round 1 is 2@41.
Baller Razorskier1 Posted June 28, 2014 Author Baller Share Posted June 28, 2014 13 scores into 41 in round one. Crazy!
Baller Texas6 Posted June 29, 2014 Baller Share Posted June 29, 2014 Those are really big scores across the board - did somebody say @ShaneH was announcing? Nice
Baller Razorskier1 Posted June 29, 2014 Author Baller Share Posted June 29, 2014 Incredible format. Rogers kills 39 every round and gets knocked out by half a buoy!
Baller Razorskier1 Posted June 29, 2014 Author Baller Share Posted June 29, 2014 Miller 4 at 41 for the win!
Baller ForrestGump Posted June 29, 2014 Baller Share Posted June 29, 2014 @texas6 Horton and I got invited to announce for the second year in a row. But since he had baby duty, I took Jeff Greathouse. Also took one of the boats that was used. Had a blast. Got to make fun of Ham Wallace for walking around with a barking cat on a leash . Got a chance to tell Jay Leach "no you can't put on rain tires." during the rain delay. Which if you know the back story, is damn funny. Had dinner with Dave and Dawn Goode, Chad Scott, Jeff Mitford, and Lippy Friday night. Dinner with Chad, Jay, and Big Ben last night. Was thrown out of the bar when Liquid D offended the sensibilities of the owner's daughter. Now we're on the 8 hr drive back to Houston with boat in tow. Bubski
22 39's ran on Saturday and I think 15 or 16 on Sunday. Shane and Jeff did a great job announcing. Really appreciated you guys coming over and doing that for us. It was an incredible weekend and thanks to all the Bigdawgs for coming to Cedar Ridge.
