Baller skigirl Posted June 4, 2014 Baller Share Posted June 4, 2014 Wanted to follow-up my previous post to look for mechanic to replace an engine in our 02 SN 196. Thinking about a crate PCM engine or a long block. Any recommendations for someone who would be willing to take this on and could get it done in a reasonable timeframe. ($3900 includes shipping). Come spend a long skiing weekend in north Florida oh! and bring the boat along. We can do the engine change in about 1 working day (cost $760). We can get you a few ski rides out at the famed Cory Pickos ski School. And!!!! Ready??? We can water test and ski your new engine at the famed Gator hole on beautiful Deer Point Lake. But the day before your post we ordered a long block from a local business. We had to act fast due to our short season. If it doesn't work out we will contact you and make that trip to Florida. Sounded like a great plan, although a ski site named Gator hole is a bit scary for a Midwestern girl :-). Any suggestions on hours/rpms for breaking in our new engine?
