Baller BlueSki Posted May 31, 2014 Baller Share Posted May 31, 2014 The idea of one OB4 plate and the ability to throw new inline skate boots on for $75 when feet grow sounds appealing. I know the Radar bindings, for example, cover a few sizes, which keeps the bindings from being outgrown as quickly as shoes. Has anyone taken a similar approach with hard shells for kids or have most of you stuck with traditional bindings?
E_T
@mmosley899 would be the one to answer the question. I know his kids grew up with the system!
Chef23
I put my kid on a Reflex pretty early and kept putting bigger boots on. It sounds like a good idea for the OB4. That way I only had to buy one new boot to cover his trick and slalom.
Baller mmosley899 Posted May 31, 2014 Baller Share Posted May 31, 2014 Yes, my kids used the system from the time they started competing. And you can use any skate boot that screws onto the skate wheel frame. However some modifications may be needed to make the boot sit flat on the boot plate.
