Baller skier2788 Posted May 17, 2014 Baller Share Posted May 17, 2014 Fred Winter get 5@41 to win the LCQ. I seem to remember him running 5@41 in a Goode tournament last year and something like 3@41 at another tournament. Big congratulations to him on some impressive scores. Is he the one to push Nate? We all think of Asher Parrish and Travers as being guys that can push Nate because they ran 41 last year but maybe Fred is the guy. Thoughts? Anyone ski with him? Not a lot of video of him out there. Any ways you look at it it s going to be an interesting season.

Baller Stevie Boy Posted May 17, 2014 Baller Share Posted May 17, 2014 I skied in many competitions, when he was younger, always beat me, there has been a lot of time and money spent, Martin,Hilary, Amelia (Father,,Mother, Daughter) are very good skier's as well, really nice family, Fredddie has always been consistent, If you look at Andy Mapple and Nate Smith, consistency is where it is at, you don't have to run 41 off every time to win competitions. Freddie Winter has got what it takes, water skiing is in his veins, if you ever get the chance to ski with him, his coaching skills are very good. Baller_ Jody_Seal Posted May 17, 2014 Baller_ Share Posted May 17, 2014 I met Fred last weekend. The man is the real deal and a very personable individual. Fred ran mid 41 all three rounds at Cory's behind 2 different drivers. looking forward to watching him on Robin lake.
swerveit
I ski with him at Thorpe, I've seen him take down 10 in a dry suit and ice on the water. Big fan following here in the UK, and the best is yet to come. Ps:We have a 15 year old that gets mid
londonskier
Freddie's a really good guy -he's pulled me quite a few times and I've watched him ski. I've seen him have 3 weeks off then run 10.75 (39) in a drysuit. And his hair is similar to Hortons. Someone give him glasses then compare photos. Oh he has a one handed gate too. Baller Edbrazil Posted May 18, 2014 Baller Share Posted May 18, 2014 Last September, when I did work for Goode Lake and also was the TC there, I had the opportunity to meet and watch the guy, when he came close to running 41. By the way, no relation to Terry Winter.
Baller ral Posted May 18, 2014 Baller Share Posted May 18, 2014 I met Freddy last year when he was training in one of the local lakes with the UK gang (Glen C., Will A. and him). They were all really nice and worked as a very united team as well, which is also quite something, given the age range.
