GroovyGrant
Looking for a recommendation on a mini tower for my Sunsetter LXi for having a permanent mounting for a bimini top. Am interested in the lowest possible profile since it will probably never see a wakeboard rope. Anybody know of a good one that doesn't look so huge like a regular tower--or any other "fixed" mounting system for a bimini top that allows you to fold up the bimini but not have it laying across the windshield/bow opening when not in use? MaliMonster
So you want to put monkey bars on your boat just to have a place to have your bimini stowed while not is use? If you really won't be using the tower at all, consider a bimini frame that has all poles and no straps. Like the MC PS 197 biminis. That way you can take down the front poles, fold up the bimini, and use the rear poles as stand-up bars. I'm probably not explaining this very clear or understanding your goals but just a thought. Baller eleeski Posted April 19, 2014 Baller Share Posted April 19, 2014 Why fix a bikini? As long as the mode of failure is that her bikini top falls off or fails to cover, just go with it. Low profile is good. Bikinis "laying across the windshield /bow" could provide a nice view. Wait, biminis? Uhh, Nevermind.
