Looks like if you hugged the shore and had an 18" draft that it might be doable. Craziest part is that there are a couple ice fishermen sitting out in the middle on buckets right now. oldjeep Posted April 12, 2014 Author Share Posted April 12, 2014 @Schafer - Amery, WI And FWIW I was talking to an ice fisherman in the bar at the end of the lake last night and he said that the ice is 30" deep in most places, the reason we are thawed is that the springs that feed the lake are on my parents shoreline.
