Baller DanE Posted April 5, 2014 Baller Share Posted April 5, 2014 Anyone know a good source to buy upholstery skins, preferrably from a vendor who have all patterns so I won´t have to ship my upholstery for measuring. 1999 Ski Nautique closed bow. uflbret
www.christinesmarine.com Used to be nautiqueskins. They are the best source for OEM original pattern skins. Not the cheapest out there but IMHO the best.
Baller_ Jody_Seal Posted April 5, 2014 Baller_ Share Posted April 5, 2014 Christine's is the place for older Nautique upholstery. They are busy this time of year but it is worth the wait.
Texas6
Not to hijack the thread, but does anybody know of a similar resource for MC skins?
east tx skier
Most of those MC guys seem to be going for Viper Customs for their skins. There is a guy in Tennessee who has a lot of original patterns, but he seems to be a bit slow. Good, but slow.
spud
Since we are on the topic of skins how about a source for MB?
GAJ0004
I have had a couple of skins made by Christine's(nautiqueskins.com). You can have the skins made and shipped to you. I always have mine installed by a local marine upholsterer. I order mine so I get them in the fall then have them installed during the off season.. Texas6
Thx @ East tx skier, I sent them a message this morning. They appear to do great work
AggieSkier
www.mastercraftskins.com & www.copycatupholstery.com. Both were recommended on another forum. Maybe MC Team Talk? Never contacted them.
Baller foxriverat Posted April 15, 2014 Baller Share Posted April 15, 2014 Have not heard anything about copycat in a few years. I know there were a lot of complaints on forums about communication and long turn around times.
uflbret
@foxriverat I have heard similar of copycat, which is surprising because in the past they were always a great company as well and 2nd only to Nautique Skins.
