wtrskior
as I understand it the vapor wants long and shallow compared to most skis. binding further forward too. someone correct me if I'm wrong. One thing that really helped my vapor come alive was increasing the spread on my bindings. It may very well have helped on my old skis as well, but noticed the improvement immensely with the vapor. AKShortline
So with a Reflex Front boot, am I to measure to the furthest point back (which would be just under the block) for this number? If so, I couldn't even run a pass at 29-15/16, had to come back a good 1/8" from this. Yes @richarddoane I bought one. Love it.

Baller hammerski Posted May 17, 2014 Baller Share Posted May 17, 2014 68" Vapor, just stumbled on to new settings. Accidentally hit the mud at my neighbor Jerrit's dock, next set skied 5 buoys better! Fin was "readjusted" to 6.910, 2.450, .760. Tried putting it back to Rini settings, didn't work as well for me. Put it back to the "Jerrit's dock mud impact settings", holy smokes! 35's very easy. I'm 198lbs, bindings 30 3/8" Power shells, 8.5 wing.
