Baller ozski Posted March 18, 2014 Baller Share Posted March 18, 2014 We have a guy out here from the UK running into -39 @32mph Skis two sets a day every day - long sets, he runs into -38 @ 34mph as a change up from time to time. Makes me feel young and a bit soft! He was in his 50's before he tried the slalom course so I'm told. He's looking good for worlds I think. Inspirational impressive stuff. Baller Skoot1123 Posted March 18, 2014 Baller Share Posted March 18, 2014 There is a member at our lake who is 75 and still ski's into 35 off (@34mph) regularly at our lake. I just hope I can still SKI at 75 let alone get into 35 off (34mph)!!
Texas6
That's one of the things I love about this sport. I'm not sure at what age diminishing returns begin to take effect, and I don't really want to know - but it's clear that you can ski at a high level for a long time. Baller 9400 Posted March 18, 2014 Baller Share Posted March 18, 2014 Y'all might want to look at Richard Lambert's scores.
