epyscs
Looking for input on a good glue for re-attaching drysuit seals to and old baggy style suit?
Dusty
Have used both Aquaseal, and a rubber contact type cement (Pliobond maybe?)- some products have a "hot" solvent in them that attacks the (latex?), more or less making even more holes in the seals... Members LZywicki1
The last seal repair kit the I got from OS Systems came with there glue PB-300 Drysuit Adhesive. I thought it worked a lot better then the aquaseal.
Dusty
Sounds good. Can I buy it elsewhere or only through OS?
Members LZywicki1
@Dusty When I searched it I found it at a couple of places and a local dive shop should have it too.
jwroblew
I would go with contact cement. When applied and set up proper it works great. Plus when you do have to change out a torn seal it is a lot easier to get tho old one off, if it was applied with contact cement.
