We plan to hold the 1st. Annual "In His Wakes Head To Head" cash prize tournament July 17, 18, 19 at Twin Oaks Lakes in Paducah, Kentucky. Our main goal is to use the head to head format to involve women and 36 mph skiers. We want the weekend to be fun and have something for all skiers who want to come. We have some of the best drivers committed Chris Eller, Ham Wallace, Gordon West and Tim McKune. The tournament will be ran as an "L" except for the night final and the class "C" on Sunday.

One of the innovating ideas is that Pro Women will be invited to compete in the 34 head to head along side of the best 34 non pro men.

Schedule:

Friday Practice 36 mph skiers South Lake(with drivers who will pull event)

Practice 34 mph skiers North Lake(with drivers who will pull event)

Night practice under lights North Lake(priority to 34 skiers)

Saturday

Qualifying Rounds(2) 36 mph South Lake

Qualifying Rounds(2) 34 mph North Lake

Head to Head 34 Finals Under Lights

Banquet

Live band and party

Sunday

Head to Head finals 36 mph South Lake

Class C slalom for anyone North Lake 2 rounds

We plan to pay 3000/1500/500 for first second and third in 34. 500/300/200 in 36 division. Entry will be $200 for 34 and $100 for 36. Class C entry not priced yet. More details will be provided later. Please plan to come out and help out In His Wakes. We are seeking sponsors. Eric Kelley 270-991-3139, Bob Harris 270-210-7552

34 skiers will pay 200 for a chance at a higher purse. 36 less cost, less purse. Trying to get some young people involved with less entry fee. Banquet included. We are going to also offer some kind of prize for the highest single buoy count during the qualifying rounds. Probably some consolation prize for the worst combined score of qualifying.

Looks like it is going to be big. Thanks to Eagle for being a big sponsor. Chad Scott is partnering with us to help. Looks like the final will likely be live streaming. Thanks to the Ski Nuts and everyone who has stepped up to get involved. We already have some great skiers committed as well as good skiers who want to throw their hat in the ring and have a great time. We need to get some 36 guys to come out and get involved. We will get a web page set up within the next couple of weeks when we get all details worked out. If anyone wants to sponsor, please let me know. All profits to In His Wakes.

Matt,

Georgia's not that far. We've got a bunch coming from Florida, maybe someone can pick you up. We were at the Lake last weekend making preparations. Water is slow around the buoys, but easy to get across the course. We still need skiers, get your entries in soon.

For those wanting to see Average Joes vs Bikini Pros on the web live streaming, see www.kentuckywaterski.org. There will be a link there for it. All information on the tournament will be there as well.

Should be interesting to see how some of the best 35 and older ballers do against Regina Jaquess, April Coble, and Emma Sheers. Chris Eller is going to be facing his wife. Could be a long ride home.......
