ToddF
Does anyone have an idea of any ski lake homes for sale in Tx, I have used ski it again and Zillow, but occasionally find one listed with neither of those web sites. It seems pretty hit and miss since on my searches.
Baller_ Bruce_Butterfield Posted January 21, 2014 Baller_ Share Posted January 21, 2014 Are you looking anywhere specific? Texas is a BIG state:) Princeton Lakes is about 45 min northeast of Dallas. Its a 4 lake site with multiple lots for sale. http://www.princetonlakespoa.com/BBoard.asp If it was easy, they would call it Wakeboarding
Baller A_B Posted January 21, 2014 Baller Share Posted January 21, 2014 Try ski it again real estate.
ToddF
@Bruce_Butterfield probably Dallas/FW or San Antonio/Austin @ab I don't think everyone posts on ski it again. I wish they would, it would make it a lot easier finding places. But I check daily anyway.
Baller Kelvin Posted January 21, 2014 Baller Share Posted January 21, 2014 There's some lots for sale at San Marcos River Ranch between San Antonio and Austin. In addition to the lots listed here, there are a few private owners selling as well. http://www.sanmarcosriverranch.com/available.php In the Houston Area, there are a few houses for sale in the Lakes of Katy subdivision, but none are listed in the local MLS service. usaski1
Nowhere if my house never sells. I'm going back to CA if it does. Someone must want this at a decent price. I have 400k in it...... Beginning to think might not ever happen. Its the hardest thing I've ever tried to sell. I won't just give it away for 250.
jipster43
How are the current water levels in Texas - Austin in particular?
usaski1
100% full at aquaplex.
gregy
@jipster43 we had some good rains, actually some flooding this past fall in th Austin area. All the private lakes in the area are full. Some of the larger public lakes are still very low in the area, rain didn't fall in the right places for them. SMRR and has river water rights and should never have a problem. I think Aquaplex had done pretty well with water level until the last few years. Mark can atest to that much better than I can.
lathompson
We lowered Princeton Lakes for some shoreline maintenance over the winter, but water level is never an issue here. When it gets low we turn on the well pump. Several homes sold recently, but there are still a few homes listed for ~$350 - 800K. Or buy a lot and build your own! Great community with lots of really talented skiers (that I try to learn from), including 2 big dawg competitors and several past national champs. http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/632-Calm-Water-Cv-Princeton-TX-75407/53126939_zpid/ http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/119-Island-Way-Princeton-TX-75407/65353325_zpid/ http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/107-Island-Way-Princeton-TX-75407/65353324_zpid/
