There's some lots for sale at San Marcos River Ranch between San Antonio and Austin. In addition to the lots listed here, there are a few private owners selling as well.

In the Houston Area, there are a few houses for sale in the Lakes of Katy subdivision, but none are listed in the local MLS service.

Nowhere if my house never sells. I'm going back to CA if it does. Someone must want this at a decent price. I have 400k in it...... Beginning to think might not ever happen. Its the hardest thing I've ever tried to sell. I won't just give it away for 250.

@jipster43 we had some good rains, actually some flooding this past fall in th Austin area. All the private lakes in the area are full. Some of the larger public lakes are still very low in the area, rain didn't fall in the right places for them.

SMRR and has river water rights and should never have a problem. I think Aquaplex had done pretty well with water level until the last few years. Mark can atest to that much better than I can.

We lowered Princeton Lakes for some shoreline maintenance over the winter, but water level is never an issue here. When it gets low we turn on the well pump. Several homes sold recently, but there are still a few homes listed for ~$350 - 800K. Or buy a lot and build your own! Great community with lots of really talented skiers (that I try to learn from), including 2 big dawg competitors and several past national champs.
