What do you think this boat is worth ?

this little "speedboat" has been in my family for the past 40+ years, it's a 10' Olympic flat-bottom, I've heard it called an "invader", I know what the 20 hp Yamaha short shaft is worth, and the trailer, but what do the ballers think this old fiberglass novelty-type machine should sell for ?

Everytime I see an invader for sale they seem to mention how rare they are. Seen tons of them for sale over the years. Not sure what an Olympic is, but yours sure looks like a GW Invader

@richaddoan, sweet upgraded engine, compared to what the original 15-25 hp 2 stroke would be. I am assuming the yammy would not go with the boat. It looks like you have taken excellent care of the little run about, which would increase what a willing buyer would pay. What @oldjeep said, 2 w/o the yammy, 4 with, maybe more, depending how new and low hours the yammy is.

@bogboy most of the Invaders I've seen have a 50hp merc on them. Not use if a 20 is an upgrade, although it does look nicer. And my 2-3K was including the motor.

@richarddoane, you look like Jesse James in the photo. You could get one of those henna tattoos in the palm of your hand that says "pay up sucka", and show it to your customers in your shop. @bogboy - that's OfficerFriendly in that pic w/ the Ryder and Basil, that Yamaha is a short shaft and will go with the deal, it would be a fun toy for Lake Stevens - free delivery !

@richarddoane it sounds like there is some family history after 40 years. It's paid for, keep it for the old memories and the new ones the next generation will make with it.

I can't help you on the valuation but when I was a kid there was a marina that had one on display that I used to drool over regularly. I thought it was the coolest thing EVER!!!!!

Don't know what it's worth, but there are a few boats that look similar running around on Canyon Lake. A buddy of mine has one, he might have a pretty good guess for you. Too bad it's up there cuz I'd bet it'd sell instantly here! Looks clean!!!

Agree with @Andy. I don't feel like you'll get enough money out of it to justify getting rid of it. Let kids and/or other family members drive it or use it to do maintenance on the lake without messing up the ski boat.

Had a high school buddy that had one with the short-shaft Merc 50 and a racing prop- Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeoooooo! Keep it or find it a good home.
