Baller JWebSki Posted September 19, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 19, 2013 Is it possible to measure the depth with the wing on? If it is, how? The wing seems like it is directly in the way.

Baller DW Posted September 19, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 19, 2013 EZ Fin tool, similar to above but also allows a correct and accurate method to measure DFT.
Baller A_B Posted September 19, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 19, 2013 Schnitz is out of stock. I dropped mine in the lake a couple weeks ago and ordered a replacement. Steve said out of stock probably the rest of the year. It was a great way to quickly adjust on the fly.

Baller A_B Posted September 19, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 19, 2013 Looks neat. The stock dft will probably measure a little different, but this looks like a more repeatable method.

Baller SkiJay Posted September 19, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 19, 2013 The EZ Fin Tool measures a lot longer than the standard method, but it's consistent, so once you establish the difference between the two methods on your ski, you can add/subtract the difference for number sharing purposes. Or just get good at the simple standard method. On the other hand, no toolkit is complete without a wing frame tool.
