Machinist Needed

I have a “thing” I need built. It is a few simple aluminum parts. I think the “thing” is a huge deal for the world of water skiing.

 

I do not have the time or energy to try to make a cent off it. If you will take on the project and build the “thing” to my spec, it is yours. Sell it to everyone. All I want is a personal supply of the “thing”.

 

I only want to deal with someone who is serious about making it. It would also be nice if the person who gets it right could make back their investment by selling it to the rest of you guys. No one is going to get rich on this but it could be one of those things like the fin block or the wing that changes ski set up.

 

When you see it most of you will think …. Well darn that is obvious.

 

For those of you who have seen it please be quiet. You know who you are.

Oh also, years ago I bought some really nice anodized aluminum wing gauges from a skier who was also a machinist. Can't remember anything more about him, unfortunately! But maybe that'll ring a bell for somebody.

Our shop has horizontal and vertical cnc's as well as turning centers. Can't do any 3d contouring. If you are interested send me a scanned print or drawing, I will see if it is somthing that might fit.

I forgot to tell everyone if you make it work @TFIN gets a few for free also. He is our Pro Skier on the project.
