Baller ForrestGump Posted August 12, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 12, 2013 Jerry Goodson has been on a preproduction 6.1 since June. He's looking REALLY good on it. Won M4 SCR regionals on it with one of the most effortless 39s I've ever seen. Andy told my ski partner on Friday the 6.1 is for a pivot skier that rotates off the apex, sets angle, and maintains that angle across. Whereas the 6.0 is going to continue turning and gaining angle. Baller MattP Posted August 12, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 12, 2013 I've seen one in the wild. @ShaneH after looking at the difference in the two skis I completely understand that explanation.
JohnCox
That's a good description @ShaneH.
Baller Alvin_Neff Posted August 12, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 12, 2013 Both the 6.0 and 6.1 are amazing but I am staying on my 6.0 for now. Welcome Paul Armour to Team Mapple as of today on his new 6.1. He is ripping it right out of the box! Watched Jerry Goodsen cruise through -39 again this morning with Andy! Team Mapple is growing stronger every day!

JohnCox
My 6.1 really feels good on this south Florida water. Been pretty banged up for several weeks, and really needed to feel what I did this morning..... Feeling better about being here.
