Administrators Horton Posted August 10, 2013 Administrators Share Posted August 10, 2013 The below picture was taken maybe 5 minutes after Jon fell around one ball on his second pass this Friday. I do not know if it was 35 or 38 off but this is heartbreaking score for a skier at his level. You have to remember this is one of the few Pro events in North America. As soon as Jon was out of the water these two boys asked Jon for an autograph and a picture. I watched the whole thing. He smiled and was perfectly gracious. I think that was pretty cool. Baller alex38 Posted August 10, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 10, 2013 Jon is one of my favorites, was so happy when he ran his first tournament 41. His dad is from Mass. long ago but he's from there. My friends have a house on sunset too. I root for him whenever I can.
monza man
was there, saw it, JT is awsome, so were all the other pros saw many get out of the water, some a little pissed, only to be approached by someone for an autograph, picture or just to say hi. All the pros I saw were very gracious & accommodating It was a GREAT event, ran On Time (YES, a waterski event that was on time, still can't believe this), the skiing was awsome, & the organizing group at PB, congrats for a great event !! Skesicks
One of those is my son the experience now formally called Ben and Jerry adventure also included pics and autographs with Asher, Lewellyn, Rossi, Brown, Winter, and of course our lunch with Brian D and Nate Smith. Sponsors, athletes and PB club were all top shelf. Oh yeah that boat which I drove and skied behind was pretty sick too.
Baller DW Posted August 13, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 13, 2013 Always nice to see... some people have that gift and I have seen that patience pay off as an encounter like that and some more idle chatter ended up becoming a major monetary sponsor for an upcoming racer. One never knows where things may go.
