Over skiing, is it possible?

Happens all the time. Skiing tears the muscles down much as weight lifting does. The body needs time to recharge and rebuild. Is especially noticeable as one gets older. I need about three days to recoup as I approach the 60's.

Ski everyday, but you can't push the limit everyday as you get older. Weight lifters don't max out bench press everyday. Your muscles need two days to recover and grow from rigorous training.

 

Ski easy for style and control one day at longer line in between chasing up the rope.
