cj_andersson
I'm looking for a new perfect pass for our ski nautique 196 -03. It's a perfect pass digital pro 6.5, made some research and found out that there are some for nautique, mastercraft, malibu etc. does it matter if i put a mastercraft pass instead of a nautique on it? Baller LeonL Posted August 1, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 1, 2013 I think that the 6.5ng will work on any boat. The only difference is the head graphics.

Baller DW Posted August 1, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 1, 2013 Master modules are non brand specific, the display is brand specific or specific to what the customer orders. The key is either a mechanical or drive by wire module as those are not interchangeable.
Baller Killer Posted August 1, 2013 Baller Share Posted August 1, 2013 you will need the proper RPM cable and power cable for your boat, as well as the hardwear to mount the servo motor, some are interchangable. Perfect Pass can easily help you out there, and tell you what will/won't work with your model boat. as been stated, non-dbw module and a gauge that fits in your dash (should be 3.5" on the 03 196 IIRC). Also 6.5 can be upgraded with a chip to 6.5ng which allows you to use the multi-line display (much easier to use), the multi-line display also allows you to upgrade to stargazer by swapping out the module.
