@thager the Razor 3 is clearly a new shape. I'd really like to ride it.

 

Maybe I'll discount it if the new owner will let me have a couple sets on it first

You can definitely tell the new shape in comparison to the R2. R3 appears to be wider starting at the toe of the rear foot going forward with less of an hourglass.

Wish I still had Razor 2 for comparison. I guess it really doesn't matter. You really never know until you ski on it.

I ski a 68A R2 and my first time on it I skied a 4 buoy PB. The ski is still pretty new so I'm not switching but it will be interesting to hear the reviews for the R3 when they start coming in.

I can't think of a more fitting owner of the Razor 3 than @RazorRoss3 !! I actually thought this thread was going to be another crazy bench press world record prior to opening it. That was you that bench pressed the house last season right? Or was it our friend "the chest cavity" also known as @Than_Bogan?

@Texas6, that was me benching 425 in the video in the off season accountability thread and my new best is 435 and I think I can do more.

Back on topic, I wouldn't be at all surprised if my next ski is a Razor 3. I don't plan on switching any time soon because I just got on my Razor 2 last august and first day I PB'd by 3.5 buoys and I'm still skiing really well on it.
