Nano One Riders - I have a head scratcher?

I rode a Nano One today, first time ever on any Goode. Currently on a 2012 Propechy. I am RFF, 195 lbs. I rode the 66.75 (one ski size too big) designated for a LFF skier; just because it was available to try out. I actually thought I was getting on a 66" (Stock FB @ 28 7/8) ski so I set the bindings at 28 15/16. I should have been at 29.25 (stock for the 66.75).

All this being said, it felt funky on my opener......but then as I shortened the line it got better right into mid 35 off; which is about an average set for me.

So what is the deal with the RFF or LFF skis and the various sizes? How much do these variables impact the performance of the ski? I felt that with a few more sets and the chance to adjust the fin (which I just rode it on the stock settings that the owner had in the ski) I would be able to dial it in for me; but, it was a LFF ski and I am RFF. Does this mean that the RFF would feel that much better?

Just looking for some insight.

@skibug The only thing different between Goode's RFF and LFF skis is the layup. They are exactly the same shape in every regard but the direction of the weave is laid out in a manner that favors torsional flex one way over the other. More than a few skiers have found they can ski just as well or even better on a Goode designed for the other foot forward, so it's a subtle difference that may depend more on your unique skiing style than which foot you ride forward. Like Than said, you'd have to try the RFF ski to see if YOU like it better.
