rodltg2
I don't really need one, but I just want one. Currently on a 65" 2011 d3 x7. Run into mid 28 mostly every set, sometimes run it and grab some at 32. Im 5'8 165. What should I get?
Baller ral Posted July 3, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2013 Quest 66". By the way, you should be on a 66" X7 as well...
Baller Not_The_Pug Posted July 3, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2013 Demo as many as you can and pick the one that feels best.
Mike
alternatives to the Quest ...66 2013 Strada, 66 2013 Prophecy, or wait for the Vapor in a 66 from Radar. The Quest should be your natural first choice as @ral suggests. I am on the border weight wise and bumped up from a 66 to 67. 5'11 163-164 glad I did. 34 mph or below bump if borderline imo. Baller Skoot1123 Posted July 3, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2013 Demo the HO A3 as well. Check out the Mapple 6.0 too!
Baller Brady Posted July 3, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2013 @rodltg2 Let's just make sure you keeps your wants to skis and not to your marriage! :) I bet many a man has said that quote, but about their wife!!
Baller webbdawg99 Posted July 3, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2013 You can demo a Quest for 2 weeks for the cost of shipping. I highly recommend it. I set my season pb in my first tournament on the Quest (3@38 58k), just one ball short of my all time pb. On Monday I ran back to back to back 35's on it. I think I've only done that once before, if ever. Every ski is inspected for flex, rocker, etc before it is given a serial number. D3's attention to detail is second to none. Baller ral Posted July 3, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2013 @Brady, why would anyone want a new wife???
Baller Brady Posted July 3, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2013 @ral I don't know.....great question!!! Maybe they have put too many sets on her and left her out in the sun for too long and she has faded?
Baller A_B Posted July 3, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2013 I thought it was always great that Goode skis all looked the same. Had 3 or 4 at a time and wife never knew better..... She surely would notice a lime green ski sitting in the boat...
Baller ral Posted July 3, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2013 @Brady, in that case, change the business model and lease instead of buying...
Baller ral Posted July 3, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2013 @AB, right in the money. You could have evolved from the 9100 to the 9900 (skipping the star and stripes 9400 w/o having to ask forgiveness/compensate...
Baller 6balls Posted July 3, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2013 @rodltg2 it's gotta be about time for new boat, too, doesn't it : )
