Baller KcSwerver Posted July 1, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 1, 2013 Hi, on the goode website, http://www.goode.com/images/wstm100101rev001.pdf Fin numbers are provided for various skis. I am of course interested In the #s for the 9900 sl but it doesn't specify the length of the ski (which I would think plays a role in the numbers) so I was wondering if anyone had the stock numbers for a 67.5. Thank you all you have been so helpful in my ski transition -KcSwerver
Baller Than_Bogan Posted July 1, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 1, 2013 Did I confuse you with someone else? I thought I remember you saying you were around 140 lbs and skiing into 36 in which case I'd say that ski is way too big for you. While boots placement is different on every ski length, I think base fin settings tend to be shared by a ski name regardless of length. Somebody with more fin knowledge can correct me if I've got that wrong.
Baller A_B Posted July 1, 2013 Baller Share Posted July 1, 2013 Goode skis have used one fin setting since they came out. The only difference is where the bindings are set, and that is on the website that you linked to. Not sure if this holds true for the N1 or not. Just be mindful of the DFT with Slot Caliper or Standard, as there are 2 different DFT's.
Baller KcSwerver Posted July 1, 2013 Author Baller Share Posted July 1, 2013 Thanks guys. The goal is to set it back to stock (when we measured, the length was like 3 tenths of an inch too long so we are hoping once we set it to stock it will ride a little better.
