Baller Razorskier1 Posted February 9, 2013 Baller Share Posted February 9, 2013 I like my lake better when there aren't pick up trucks on it! Come on spring!
Baller skier2788 Posted February 9, 2013 Baller Share Posted February 9, 2013 @razorskier1 I can help take the sting out if that. Last year here in colorado we had a bad drought and they emptied my lake to unskiable on August 5. Had the annual lake meeting this morning. Snow pack is at 39% of average which means there is a good chance I wont get water at all this year. Be happy those trucks are on water and not dirt. Pray for snow and rain. Baller BraceMaker Posted February 9, 2013 Baller Share Posted February 9, 2013 @skier2788 - very ouch. Is your lake only fed by run off from snow pack? Or are there other sources of inflow? Can you sink wells and pump it up?
Baller skier2788 Posted February 9, 2013 Baller Share Posted February 9, 2013 Snow pack only. Its a 100 acre irrigation resevoir that is 25 feet deep. First time in 30 years we have had this problem. No way to pump. Could possibly buy more water shares if there are any we could buy. Looking for some just in case.
